How to Update iPhone Location Permissions

In order to use geolocation features with a SmartParks web app, you will need to need make sure both the Safari Browser and the web domain have location permission enabled.

How to turn Location Services On for the Safari App

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.

  2. Make sure that Location Services is toggled On.

  3. Scroll down to find Safari.

  4. Tap Safari and choose one of the following options:

    • While Using the App: Allows access to Location Services only when the app or one of its features is visible on screen.

    • Always: Allows access to your location even when the app is in the background.

How to Turn Locations Services On for a Specific Web Domain

1. Tap the AA icon in the bottom left of the screen, next to the address bar, then select Website Settings.

2. Check the Location setting. If it is set to Deny, then tap the row to change it.

3. Change the Location setting to Allow and tap the Done button in the top right.
